The East Benson Industrial site represents a 80-acre parcel located in the Town of Benson North Carolina. The property is located minutes from Interstate 95 (Exit 79) and the I95/I40 interchange. The site is 15 minutes from the Johnston County Community College.
Duke Energy will provide electrical service from their existing electrical transmission lines and associated substations near the site. Natural gas service is also located near the site and will be provided by Piedmont Natural Gas.
Because of the close proximity to the Research Triangle, Johnston County supports numerous manufacturing, pharmaceutical and distribution companies such as Berry Global, Americold, Becton Dickinson, Grifols, Novo Nordisk, Sysco and others.
The South Benson Industrial site offers a central location mid-point on Interstate 95. Interstate 40 and US Hwy 70 are major east/west road arteries that facilitate goods, services, and labor resources to these locations. This existing and expanded highway network enables all sites to easily access the Raleigh-Durham International Airport (50 minutes), the Research Triangle Park, and the university system’s graduate pool of engineers and technicians that are the region’s greatest labor resource.
The North Carolina State Ports of Wilmington and Morehead City are less than a 2 hour drive from the site.
